It was good.

The animation style really fit with TomSka's version and jokes were pretty good to say the least. In the end it was pretty similar to an addition to the series. So well done on these categories.

My only concern was that the transition white noise were a tad too loud. It made it uncomfortable to listen to the voice acting at a comfortable without having to lower the volumewhen the skits transition to another.

Other than that I liked the skits and the animation.

So, good job.

Simple, but I like it alot!

I like the minimalism and black and white, it really rings with me. But there was more that you could do, that you didn't. But then again, It can be understandable if you were on a time limit and needed it done before a certain time. Whatever the happenstance, well done.

ShaunSP responds:

Hopefully next time I will spend more time on my animations, therefore show better results. Thanks for the comment. ^^

I feel mixed feelings after watching this.

It's a mix of a kid's cartoon with morals and trippy colors. The plot isn't bad (just awkward in which it is presented) and the story includes morals which I believe that people can learn from. However, I don't believe that this flash was intended for kids but moreover to be presented here for an unknown age quota. It has its own strange qualities and silliness that asks the question, "Why this?" Which, I believe is what the other viewers would like to know.

On a side note, I like the animation in this flash. No jitters, very few (if any) continuity errors, and includes a frame rate that actually works with this style of animation. The music is soothing but a little misplaced. And lastly, Mastershake (or whatever the name for this character might be) has an almost incomprehensible voice.

It is a strange cartoon, but maybe this is the style you intended.

I don't know. :\

Can be better...

...If more elements are added. Let's say if you add a storyline regarding Russian roulette, some tense music to build up suspense per turn, and some better visuals with a darker more edgier tone. Just some ideas that can benefit the game play and feel of this flash.

This flash can be better, maybe having a sequel with a collaborative effort would be a good method in making this game better?

Very informative, even after 7 years. :)

Ah nostalgia, it takes me back when I see flash submissions like these.

I loved that book!

This is pretty good too. I like the reversed percussion and the overall smoothness within the the song itself. It's one of those songs where you can listen to it forever while working on something else.

On a side note, yes, I do believe that the universe will work towards helping you and your goals in life. But, moreover, one needs to believe in order to make it work.

I know.

It's awesome. The cold colors are very, very nice. I'm interested in this character... do you have and background info on him/it? And speaking of backgrounds... the simple works... but the overall piece doesn't speak or give ideas to anything other than it's a mutant man arising from the steam.... *ghost noises*

Rhunyc responds:

Thank you! And no background info at all.. He just kind of developed with the idea/notion of making a gasmask with tusks.. Originally I had intended for it to be just a picture of a gasmask with tusks looking grotesque, but I couldn't frame it right, so I decided to give the mask/tusks a body to go with it.

And then the idea came along that he could be a general of sorts for some weird fantasy world. But I didn't like that idea after I thought more into it. SO, for now it will remain a mystery. Glad it intrigued you though! :D

Oh! I love it!

I think I know a way for you to fix her head size. It isn't her head size, rather her hair is a bit bulky near the crown area. It gives a bit of a light bulb shape to her head from this.

I do love the colors and the simplicity of the background. It makes it look a bit like a comic book cover. Given that the character is from a comic, more power to you.

However, compliments aside, I'm not really fond of the blurry coloring when viewed at full size. I thought I was becoming farsighted for a moment. This might be because you're coloring with airbrushing or you're smudging to get the color and tones right. Try working with sharper and crisper brushes and experiment with different opacity settings for the brushes to get unique fades and color transitions. (Though, this might just be a bit of a personal pet peeve as the composition looks lovely from a re-sized view. )

Unibee responds:

Thanks so much for the great review!

I'll try my best to keep the hair thing in mind. I have this obsession with big voluminous hair so I find myself doing that out of habit, haha.

As for the crisper edges, I'll definitely try to do that. So thank you!

Wow. I love it! :D

I really love the curvy style that you have. It's very whimsical and cutesy. :3 Also the half-tone desaturated earth tones are a perk as well. Good job, man.

Also, to hell with the guy below me. Really? Lemme get that score back up for you. :3

I'm just a man with the drive to make things.
